![]() All I know is that it is not an issue with GPU Tweak, its an issue with InstallShield. So I have no idea if it was either the regsvrs I ran or just changing the permissions that made it work. I just tried to install GPU Tweak II again after that and it worked. All of the regsvr commands that I ran came back with an error message saying the file could not be found. dll, IDriver, and IDriver2 files in that driver folder that I had just changed the permissions on. ![]() After that I went into cmd prompt and ran regsvr32 on all of the. Then I changed the permissions on all the files in that folder to be full control for every user on the system. Get to the folder that is labelled either "7", "8", or "9" (I believe it should be 9, because that is the latest version). If people are experiencing the same as I did and need a more detailed walkthrough, Ill do my best to retrace my steps and give you a better answer.įirst I went into "InstallShield" driver files in C:\Windows\SysWOW64. I don't know exactly what did it but this is a rough outline of what I did. Have you tried installing with "Run as Administrator?"Īctually somehow got it to work this afternoon.
